Although the built-in flash will fire with automatic flash adjustments
(except in the i mode), it is also possible to set it so that it fires
without any adjustments.

• When the shooting mode is set to F'QI,

when [Flash Adjust] is set to [Auto] (p. 55) in
Tv
or AV mode, settings can be adjusted in 1/3-stop
increments in the range of -2 to +2 stops.
• You can combine the flash exposure
compensation with the camera's exposure
compensation function to achieve creative effects
which compensate for background exposure.
• When Shooting mode is set to i or when [Flash
Adjust] is set to [Manual] in Tv or AV mode
(p. 55), the flash output can be controlled in three
steps, starting from FULL, when shooting.
