The camera indicator lights or blinks under the following
circumstances.
Green:
Ready to shoot/Connected
to computer/Display
Off (p. 29)
Blinking Green:
Camera starting up/Image recording/reading/
erasing/transferring
(when connected to a
computer)
Orange:
Ready to shoot (flash on)
Blinking Orange:
Ready to shoot (camera shake warning)
* Camera beeps once if difficult to focus,
This camera is equipped with a power saving function. The power
will shut off in the following circumstances.
Press the power button
again to restore power.
Shooting Mode
Powersdown approximately3 minutesafter the last
controlis accessedon the camera.The LCD monitor
automaticallyturnsoff 1 minute*afterthe lastcontrol is
accessedeven if [AutoPowerDown]is setto [Off].
Pressany buttonother thanthe powerbuttonor change
the cameraorientationto turn the LCD monitorbackon.
Playback Mode
Powersdown approximately5 minutes after the last
Connected to a Printer control is accessedon the camera.
* This time can be changed,
• The power saving function will not activate during a slide
show or while the camera is connected to a computer.
• The power saving function settings can be changed (p. 29).
