• When transporting or storing the hedge trimmer, always have the blade
cover in place. Proper handling of the hedge trimmer will reduce possible
personal injury from the cutter blades.

• Keep cables away from cutting area. During operation a cable may be
hidden in shrubs and can be accidentally cut by the blade.
• Check the work area for foreign objects, e.g. wire fences.
• Use a residual current device with a tripping current of 30 mA or less.
