    STARTING A FLOODED ENGINE Squeeze the throttle trigger fully and hold through all remaining steps. Flooded engines can be started by plac- ing the choke lever in the RUN position; Pull starter rope with a controlled and steady motion until engine then, pull the rope to clear the engine of runs, but no more than 6 pulls.
