WHEN A CLEAN CYCLE IS

1. Wait until the LOCK display goes out. The oven
temperature must drop to a safe level before the door
can be unlocked,
WAIT UNTIL LOCK GOES OUT
TO RHTERRUPT A CLEAH CYCLE:

You will not need to determine when the oven will
turn on, when setting this functlon. The control will
do this for you° You will need to set the amount of
time you want your oven to clean (between 2 and 4
hours), and the time of day when you want the oven
to turn ofL

show "CLEAN", "THME" and (---),

to select the amount of time you want the
oven to clean, The normal cycle is 3
hours but you may choose between 2
and 4 hour's.

Make sure your oven light is off during a self-clean cycle
to prolong the life of the bulb,
AFTER A CLEAN CYCLE
After a clean cycle, you may
notice some white ash in the
oven. Just wlpe tt up with a
damp cloth or'sponge.
If white spots remain, remove
them with a soap-filled steel
wool pad° Be sure to r|nse thoroughly with a vinegar
and water mixture. These deposits are usually a salt
residue that cannot be removed by the clean cycle.
If the oven is not clean after one clean cycle, the cycle
may be repeated_

What should I do if excessive smoking occurs during
cleaning?
This is caused by excessive soil and you should
press CLEAR/OFF. Open windows to rid room of
smoke. Allow the oven to cool for at least one hour
before opening the door. Wipe up excess soil and
reset the clean cycle.

Should there be any odor during the cleaning?
Yes, there may be an odor during the first few
cleantngs. Failure to wipe out excessive soil might
also cause an odor when cleaning.
