When connecting any external equipment, do not connect any AC power cords to wall outlets until all other connections are completed. - Page 13 Disconnecting from the Mains The STANDBY button on the front view and also on the remote control is only used for turning on the TV to standby mode, it does not disconnect the device from the mains supply.
