How to operate the receiver with an optional iPod Interface Adaptor

• When an optional iPod interface adaptor (iPC-106) is connected to this deck, it is possible to

operate the iPod
with this deck and to display information relevant to it on the screen of this deck,
so you can listen to the songs stored in the iPod.
• iPod is for legal or rightholder-authorized copying only. Don't steal music.
• iPod is a trademark of Apple Computer, Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
ATTENTION
• For the functions of the iPod, refer to the iPod User's Guide.
• For the specific details of the iPod operation and connection, refer to the Instruction Manual of the
optional iPod interface adaptor (iPC-106).

Charging the iPod

The iPod connected to an optional iPod interface adaptor (iPC-106) can be charged when this deck is
turned on.

Switching the control mode

Prior to connecting the iPod, switch to the iPod mode with the select switch on an optional iPod
interface adaptor (iPC-106).
When the iPod inerface adapter (iPC-106) is shipped, the iPod mode is selected as default.

Operating the iPod

ATTENTION
It is assumed here that the iPod has already connected to this deck with an optional iPod interface adaptor
(iPC-106).
