Active he ad res traints 3
In the event of a rear-end impa ct, the
active head restraints tilt forwards.
The head is more effectiv ely supported by
the head restraint and the danger of
whiplash in the neck area of the cervical
vertebra is reduced.
Active head restraints are id entified by the
lettering ACTIVE on the head restraint
guide sleev es.
Re moving the he ad res traints
Press and relea se the two catches. Pull and
remove the head restraint.
Note
Only a tta ch loose objects or components
to the head restraint on the front
passenger's seat if it is not in use.

Arm res t at driver's s eat
Push raised armrest ba ckwards against
resistance a nd fold down.
The armrest can be moved to d ifferent
positions in stages by lifting it.
