This cleaner is double insulated and no earth connection is necessary. It is in your interest to ensure that the plug is correctly attached to the mains cable. In case of doubt, consult a qualified electrician, as Electrolux cannot regard the repair of faults on the plug connection as a service that can be given free of charge under the terms of the guarantee. -

How to Assemble ASSEMBLY PACKET The assembly pack is with the owner’s guide. The packet contains one machine screw and nut to fasten the handle assembly to the cleaner ASSEMBLY Caution: Fully assemble the cleaner before using. 1. Open the dust bag cover. Slide the metal portion of the handle assembly down the channel until it fully seats on the lower retainer. -

How to Use The upright vacuum cleaner is designed to be used on multiple types of carpeting. Do not attempt to use the upright cleaner with the brush roll operating on bare floors, as damage to the floor covering may result. -
