Intended use • The refrigerator is intended for use in the home. It is suitable for the storing of food at low temperature. If the appliance is used for pur- poses other than those intended or used incorrectly, no liability can be accepted by the manufacturer for any damage that may be caused. - Page 5 There is a risk of an explosion! Disposal Appliance Packaging Information All materials are environmentally sound! They can be disposed of or burned at an incinerating plant without danger. About the materials: The plastics can be recycled and are identified as follows: >PE< for polyethylene, e.g. the outer covering and the bags in the interior. -

It is necessary to avoid overheating of the refrigerator by maintaining adequate distances from heat sources and by the use of a suitable thermal insulation plate. Proper ventilation of the appliance must also be ensured. -

Installation Your Refrigerator Needs Air Integratable models (i-appliances) The integrated door of the furniture cabi- net largely seals the installation recess. i-appliances must therefore be provided with ventilation by having an opening in the furniture plinth. The warmed air must be able to be exhausted upwards through the air shaft on the furniture back. -

Electrical Connection Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. WARNING – THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED The manufacturer declines any liability should these safety mea- sures not be observed. (see section “Cleaning and Care”). Starting Up and Temperature Regulation 1. Insert the plug into the plug socket. When the refrigerator compart- ment door is opened, the internal lighting is switched on. 2. Press ON/OFF button. The green mains pilot indicator illuminates. -

6 hours. The originally selected DESIRED temperature is again valid and the compartment will return to. The temperature display shows the ACTUAL refrigerator tem- perature. 3. The COOLMATIC function can be ended manually at any time by press- ing the COOLMATIC button again. -

Interior Accessories Storage Shelves/Glass Shelves Various glass or plastic storage shelves and wire trays are included with your appliance - different models have different combinations. You should always slide one of the full size glass storage shelves into the lowest set of guides, above the vegetable drawers, and keep it in this position. -

2. Please do the same in reverse to insert the shelf at a different height. The variable box can be hung from a storage shelf in the refrigerator com- partment: 1. Pull the storage shelf forward until it can be tipped up or down and removed. -

Warmer regions are the top stor- age shelf, the vegetable drawer and the storage compartments on the door. The arrangement example shows at which places in the refrigerator suit- able temperatures for various types of foods exist. Tip: Food in the fridge should always be covered or packaged, to prevent drying and tainting of other food. -

Do not allow such substances to come into contact with appliance parts. • Do not use any abrasive cleansers. 1. Remove the food from the refrigerator. Store it in a cool place, well covered. 2. Switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the mains, or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker or fuse. -
