why is my bobbin thread loose instead of tight?

The bobbin thread may be loose on your Singer 160 due to incorrect threading of the bobbin case or lint accumulation in the bobbin case or hook. To fix this, ensure the bobbin case is threaded correctly and remove any lint buildup.
