Attaching the Battery Pack Align the catches on the battery pack with the grooves on the unit, and close the latch until it clicks.     4.Basic Operation Adjusting the Squelch Squelch is a function that eliminates the noise when no signals are being received. • There are 11 squelch levels (00~10). • The default setting is Level 00. 1. Press the key. The squelch level is displayed on the LCD.
