Battery Install Batteries
Installation
Note
Batteries not included with
microTALK 2-way radio. Always
use high quality alkaline or
NiMH batteries.
Only the Cobra NiMH bat-
tery pack (Part #FA-BP) can
be recharged.
Incorrect positioning can
damage both the batteries
and the unit.
Note
When batteries are low

Insert four "AAA"
batteries. Position
batteries according
to po l a ri ty marki n g s.
Turning On Your microTALK
Push and hold the POWER button for
3 seconds. An audible tone will indicate the
unit is on. (The unit will return to the mode
last selected before it was shut off).

Illuminating the Display

Push and release LIGHT/MAX RANGE
button to illuminate display for ten seconds.
