Disassembling the Main Unit

Separate the Main Unit Into the Upper and the Lower Case Assembly

Remove the screw fastening the ODD bracket with the optical disk drive module on the bottom.
1.
Remove the ODD bracket and push the optical disk drive module outwards.
2.
Remove the ODD module.
3.
Press and release the PC dummy card from the PC slot as shown.
4.
Then press the release the memory dummy card from the 5-in-1 card reader slot as shown.
5.
Remove the screw fastening the upper case and the lower case assembly from the rear side as shown.
6.
Remove the two screw rubbers as shown.
7.
Remove the seventeen screws fastening the upper case and the lower case assembly on the bottom.
8.
Remove the five screws fastening the upper case assembly and the lower case assembly on the front
9.
side.
