Be default, the pins labeled LINE OUT_R/BLINE_OUT_R and the pins LINE OUT_L/BLINE_OUT_L are shorted with jumper caps. Remove the caps only when you are connecting the front panel audio cable.

Pressing the power button turns the system ON or puts the system to SLEEP or SOFT OFF mode, depending on the BIOS or OS settings.     2.1.3 Using AFUDOS to update the BIOS To update the BIOS using the AFUDOS.EXE: 1. Visit the ASUS website (www.asus.com) to download the latest BIOS file for your motherboard. Save the BIOS file to a bootable floppy disk. Write down the BIOS file name to a piece of paper. You need to type the exact BIOS file name at the prompt.
