press one of the programme selection button and close the door.

For dishwasher models with
delay start option:
Delay start has been selected.
The whistling is not a cause
for concern.

Solutions
Close the door.
Insert the mains plug.
Replace the fuse.
If dishes are o be washed
immediately, cancel the
delay start.
Use a different brand of
detergent.
