Playing your DVDs

1 Insert your DVD into the DVD drive by pushing the disc directly into the slot drive, with the label facing
the front of the computer.
2 From the AutoPlay window, select a program to play your DVD, such as DVD Play or Windows
Media Player.
3 Use the media controls in the DVD playing program to play your DVD.

Webcam and Microphone

Your HP TouchSmart PC comes with a built-in webcam (A) and array microphone (B) located at the top of
your computer. You can use them to capture videos and have video chats and conference calls by using
instant messaging software. You must download the instant messaging software of your choice, it is not
included with HP TouchSmart.
The optimal distance for recording sound with the array microphone is about one-half meter away from the
HP TouchSmart PC.
