Flat Rate Billing – Example
The sum of these rates is your total cost per
kilowatt-hour (kWh). In this example, add them
to get a total rate of $0.1348 per kilowatt-hour.
Then multiply by 100 to convert to 13.48 ¢/kWh

Flat Rate Billing – Determine Your Billing Rate
Now refer to your own electric bill. Find your billing rate. If applicable, add fees and taxes
to your base rate to obtain an accurate total billing rate, as shown in the example.
If your rate is in dollars per kilowatt-hour ($/kWh), you will need to multiply by 100 to con-
vert it to cents per kilowatt-hour (¢/kWh).
