Replacing the LAN
accessory board in
the dedicated PCI
accessory slot
Replacing the LAN accessory board
This document explains how to replace the LAN accessory board:
in the dedicated PCI accessory slot (desktop models only)
•
in a standard PCI slot (desktop and minitower models).
•
1 Remove the defective board from the dedicated PCI accessory slot.
Disconnect the External Start cable from the board (if necessary).
2 Mount the dedicated PCI accessory slot bracket on the replacement
LAN accessory board (if necessary).
3 Connect the External Start cable to the replacement LAN accessory
board (if required) and then insert the board in the dedicated PCI
accessory slot.
