The proxy settings apply only to the WiFi
network you modified. To change the proxy
settings for other WiFi networks, modify
them individually.
Set Wi-Fi notifications, disconnect
policy, & other advanced options
To work with advanced WiFi settings:
1. Turn on WiFi, if it's not already on.
2. In the WiFi settings screen, touch
Menu > Advanced.
These are the settings you can adjust:

Network notification. By default, when
Wi-Fi is on, you receive notifications in
the Status bar when your phone detects
an open WiFi network. Uncheck this op
tion to turn off notifications.
Keep Wi-Fi during sleep. To conserve mo

bile data usage, your phone stays con
nected to WiFi when the screen goes to
sleep. Touch this option to change this
