    Used in conjunction with Humminbird's Matrix Fishing System, a fisherman now has the option of teaming WeatherSense with any Matrix Fishing System that supports Smart accessories. The WeatherSense can help to increase your chances of catching more fish under all types of weather conditions.

    You will need the following tools and supplies: Nail or sharp pencil (for marking mounting hole position) Phillips screwdriver Drill and appropriately-sized drill bits Marine-grade silicone caulk (optional). 1. Using the WeatherSense unit as a guide, mark the drill holes on the mounting surface using a nail or sharp pencil. 2.

    BATTERY LIFE The battery life expectation is 3 years, based on continuous trending samples being taken every 30 minutes when the Matrix is turned off. A text alarm message "WeatherSense Low Battery" will appear on the Matrix display when battery voltage is low. Setting Trending to Off will prolong battery life.
  • Page 5 ALARMS Various audible alarms can be triggered in the Matrix unit based on these menu settings. When an alarm is triggered, you may silence it by pressing the EXIT key. Alarm menus for add-on accessories connected to the Matrix unit will be displayed under this menu tab. Only the Low Battery alarm and the Pressure alarm messages are relevant for the WeatherSense.

    OPERATING THE BAROMETRIC PRESSURE ACCESSORY WeatherSense View The WeatherSense view will appear in the View queue when the WeatherSense accessory is attached and functional.
