Swipe: Swipe the screen to unlock it.

Motion: While tapping and holding the screen, tilt the device
forward to unlock.

Face unlock: Look at your phone to unlock it.

Face and voice: Look at your phone and speak to unlock.

Pattern: A screen unlock pattern is a touch gesture you create
and use to unlock your device. Follow the prompts to create or
change your screen unlock pattern.

PIN: Select a PIN to use for unlocking the screen.

Password: Create a password for unlocking the screen.

None: No pattern, PIN, or password is required. The screen will
never lock.
• With swipe lock: to use a secured lock with swipe lock.
• Lock screen options: Touch this option and the Lock screen
options screen displays several options. For more information,
refer to "Lock screen options" on page 135.
• Make pattern visible: The Lock screen pattern briefly displays
as it is entered.
• Secured lock time: The screen locks after a specified time of
inactivity.

• Vibrate on screen tap: The phone vibrates when the screen is
touched.
• Owner Information: Touch this option to enter text you want
displayed on the Lock screen. The following options are
available:
Lock screen options
Activate or deactivates various Unlock screen functions.
1. From the Home screen, tap
screen.
2. Tap Lock screen options to customize lock screen
shortcuts, tickers, clocks, and more. Tap the option to
enable it, or use the slider to turn the option On or Off.
• Shortcuts: to display application shortcuts display on the lock
screen.
• Information ticker: to display a news or stock information
ticker on the lock screen.
• Clock: to enable/disable a clock display on the lock screen.
• Dual clock: to display a clock that displays two time zones on
the lock screen.
• Weather: weather information for your current location displays
on the lock screen.
