1. On the Windows taskbar, click Start, then
point to Settings, and then click Control
Panel.
The Windows Control Panel displays.
2. In Control Panel, double-click Network.
The Network dialog box displays.
3. On the Protocols tab, select TCP/IP
Protocol, and then click Properties.
The Microsoft TCP/IP Properties dialog
box displays.
4. In the Microsoft TCP/IP Properties
dialog box, make sure that the correct
network adapter is selected in the Adapter
menu and that Obtain an IP address from
a DHCP server is selected; then click OK.
