MPEG REC

Saving the pictures captured by a camera as
a moving picture file onto MEMORY STICK
1. Check whether MEMORY STICK is inserted into the camcorder.
If it is not in the camcorder, insert it onto the slot.
2. Set the mode switch to MEMORY position.
3. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode.
4. Press the START/STOP button, the images which are being captured are
recorded as a moving picture of MPEG4 type onto MEMORY STICK.
You can record 10 ~ 20 seconds continuously in once by the recording object.
You can record a camera still image onto memory stick by pressing the
Photo key instead the START/STOP button.
5. Press the START/STOP button to stop the recording.
Selecting the moving picture sizes
1. Set the mode switch to MEMORY position.
2. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode.
3. Press the MENU button.
4. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight MEMORY.
5. Press the ENTER button to enter the submenu.
6. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight MPEG4 SIZE.
7. Press the ENTER button.
The MPEG4 SIZE toggles between 352X288 - 176X144 with
each push.

Before using the MPEG REC function, check whether the
MEMORY STICK is inserted into the camcorder.
Moving pictures can be made in two sizes, 176
352 288 (Pixel).
Moving images that you recorded are saved in *.asf file format
on the memory stick.
The files that you recorded are saved in a folder as shown below.
The moving picture images on a Memory Stick are smaller and
have less definition than Tape recordings.
The sound is recorded in Mono.
The following functions are not allowed in M.REC Mode.
- DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer), Digital Zoom, Fade, Program
AE, Digital Effect, Slow Shutter.
While recording onto a Memory Stick, don't insert or eject the
tape, as noise may be recorded.
While recording onto Memory Stick, don't eject it, as it may

affect the data or the stick itself.

Videodateien auf dem Memory Stick speichern
1. Überprüfen Sie, ob der Memory Stick bzw. die Karte in den Camcorder eingelegt
2. Stellen Sie den Funktionsschalter auf MEMORY.
3. Stellen Sie den Betriebsmodus-Schalter auf CAMERA.
4. Drücken Sie die Taste START/STOP.
5. Um die Aufnahme wieder zu beenden, drücken Sie die Taste START/STOP erneut.

vorgesehenen Schacht ein.
Ein Film wird im MPEG4-Format auf dem Memory Stick aufgezeichnet.
Sie können eine Videosequenz von 10 bis 20 Sekunden Länge aufzeichnen.
Um statt eines Films ein Einzelbild auf dem Memory Stick aufzuzeichnen,
drücken Sie anstelle der Taste START/STOP die Taste PHOTO.
1. Stellen Sie den Funktionsschalter auf MEMORY.
2. Stellen Sie den Betriebsmodus-Schalter auf CAMERA.
3. Drücken Sie die Taste MENU.
4. Wählen Sie mit dem Menü-Einstellrad die Option MEMORY aus.
5. Drücken Sie die Taste ENTER, um das Untermenü aufzurufen.
6. Wählen Sie mit dem Menü-Einstellrad die Option MPEG4 SIZE
aus.
7. Drücken Sie die Taste ENTER.
Durch Drücken auf das Menü-Einstellrad können Sie das
MPEG4-Format zwischen den Optionen 352
176 144 umschalten.
Hinweise
Bevor Sie die Funktion MPEG REC verwenden, stellen Sie
sicher, dass der Memory Stick bzw. die Karte in den Camcorder
PHOTO
eingelegt ist.

Digitale Filme können Sie in zwei Formaten aufzeichnen:
352X288
176 144 Pixel oder 352
000
Die Filme werden auf dem Memory Stick im Dateiformat *.asf
SERIES
gespeichert.
Die Dateien mit den Aufnahmen werden wie nachstehend
angegeben in einem Verzeichnis gespeichert.
Die auf dem Memory Stick gespeicherten Bildsequenzen sind
kleiner und haben eine geringere Auflösung als Aufnahmen auf
Kassette.
Der Ton wird in Mono aufgenommen.
Folgende Funktionen sind im Modus M.REC nicht verfügbar:
- DIS (Digitale Bildstabilisierung), Digitaler Zoom, Einblenden/
Ausblenden (Fade), Belichtungsprogramm (Program AE),
Digitale Effekte, Lange Belichtungszeit (Slow Shutter)
Legen Sie während der Aufnahme auf Memory Stick keine
Kassette ein bzw. geben Sie keine Kassette aus. Andernfalls
können Nebengeräusche mit aufgezeichnet werden.
Nehmen Sie den Memory Stick während der Aufnahme nicht aus dem Camcorder, da
sowohl die Daten als auch der Memory Stick selbst dadurch Schaden nehmen können.
