Connecting the Power Cable
Hold the power cable (with four pins) in the power box within the computer with the cutoff edges(
facing up and connect it to the power port in the back of the DVD±R/RW Drive

Connecting E-IDE Cable
We recommend that you use the 80-pin E-IDE cable that comes with the purchase of the drive for
stable performance.
When you use one E-IDE cable
Connect the cable to SL (slave) in the Master/Slave port in the back of the DVD±R/RW Drive.
Improperly connected power cable may cause malfunction. Check the direction of the
power cable and the cutoff edges before connecting the cable.
