Resetting to Factory Settings
You can reset the player to the default settings. Resetting the player does not
delete the music songs you have transferred to the player.
Note
 This function is only available in the stop mode.

Press and hold the DISPLAY/HOME button in the stop mode until
the HOME screen appears.

Rotate the shuttle switch to select
button to confirm.

Rotate the shuttle switch to select "Advanced Settings>" and press
the  button to confirm.

Rotate the shuttle switch to select "Initialize>" and press the 
button to confirm.

Rotate the shuttle switch to select "Reset All Settings>" and press
the  button to confirm.

Rotate the shuttle switch to select "OK" and press the  button
to confirm.
When resetting is completed, "COMPLETE" appears.
To cancel restoration of factory settings
Select "Cancel" in step
To return to the previous menu
Press the DISPLAY/HOME button.
