This extends battery life and prevents you from unintentionally activating the touch screen during calls.     Getting to know your phone Installing the battery You must first install and charge the battery to begin setting up your device. 1. To remove the back cover, hold the phone firmly in one hand. With your other hand, lift off the back cover with your thumbnail as shown in figure below.
