Alignment

Incorrect alignment may cause loud noises, intense vibrations and "wandering".
Alignment will be carried out by customer service or authorised technicians. If you want to
align the machine yourself, use a spirit level.
Use a spirit level to align the washing machine.
1. Use a spanner to loosen the lock nut in a clockwise
direction.
2. Adjust the height by turning the appliance foot.
All four appliance feet must be placed firmly on the floor.
The washing machine must not be able to shake.
Use a spirit level to check the alignment of the washing machine and
correct it if necessary.
3. Tighten the lock nut against the housing.
Hold the foot in place and make sure that the correct height is
maintained.
The lock nuts on all four appliance feet must be screwed tightly against
the housing.

Electrical connection

Connect the washing machine to an alternating current via a correctly installed earthed
socket only.
The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage specification on the washing machine
(rating plate).
The connected load and required fuse or line protecting cut-out are indicated on the
appliance rating plate.
Ensure that:
– the mains plug and socket are compatible,
– the cable cross-section is adequate,
– the earthing system has been installed correctly.
A damaged power cord must be replaced by an electrician only.
Replacement power cords are available from after-sales service.
Do not use multiple plugs/connectors or extension cables.
If a residual current-operated circuit-breaker is used, use only a type which guarantees
compliance with the regulations that are currently valid.
Mains plug:
– Do not insert into/pull out of the socket with damp hands.
– Do not pull the plug out of the socket by tugging the cable.
– Never pull the plug out while the appliance is operating.
