Inserting an SDHC/SDXC Card
This camera recorder comes with four SDHC/SDXC card slots.
(Slots A, B, C, and D)

Set the [STANDBY/ON OFF] switch to [OFF].

Open the door.
Slide the [DOOR LOCK] lever to the right, and pull the door

toward you.

Insert an SDHC/SDXC card with the notched
corner first.
To record in the 4K2K mode, insert four SD cards into slots
0
A to D.
The four media icons light up when SD cards are inserted
into all the slots.
When recording in HD quality (1920 mode), insert an SD
0
card into slot A.
After an SD card is inserted, the media icon for slot A will
light up.

Close the door.
After closing the door, slide the [DOOR LOCK] lever to the
0
left, and make sure that the door does not open up by itself.

Caution :
The memory card needs to be formatted in advance if it has not

been used for recording in the 4K2K mode before.

When you insert the formatted cards, ensure that the

combination and sequence of the four cards are matching
correctly. If the combination or sequence is incorrect, cards
cannot be used.
In order not to forget, take notes on the combination and
sequence of the cards when formatted.

Slot Display
The icon of the slot will appear blinking in the following cases.
When the card is write-protected

When the card in use does not support Class 6 or higher

When the card is faulty

When there is no card in the slot

When in the 4K2K mode, the four slot display icons will appear
blinking in the following cases.
When there is a slot with no card inserted
0
When the combination of the four cards is incorrect
0
When there is an unformatted card
0
Removing the SDHC/SDXC Card

Set the [STANDBY/ON OFF] switch to [OFF].

Open the door.
Slide the [DOOR LOCK] lever to the right, and pull the door
0
toward you.

Push the SDHC/SDXC card and remove it
from the slot.

Close the door.
After closing the door, slide the [DOOR LOCK] lever to the
0
left, and make sure that the door does not open up by itself.
Memo :
Do not touch the metal part of the SDHC/SDXC card when
0
inserting or removing the SDHC/SDXC card.
Write-Protect Switch on the SDHC/SDXC Card
A Slide the write-protect switch upward to enable writing or
deleting.
B Slide the write-protect switch downward to prevent writing
or deleting. (Recorded data in the card are protected.)
