Using closed captioning
Selecting the closed captioning mode
To select the closed captioning mode:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.

2 Press or to highlight SETTINGS, then press . The
SETTINGS menu opens.

Reset to Default
3 Press to highlight Closed Caption, then press ENTER. The
Closed Caption Setup screen opens.
Caption Control
Analog Caption
Digital Caption
Digital CC Settings
4 Press to highlight Caption Control, press or to select
the CC Mode. You can select:
• CC On—Turns on closed captioning
• CC On When Mute—Turns on closed captioning when the
sound is muted.
• CC Off—Turns off closed captioning.
5 Press EXIT to close the menu.
Note: You can also press CCD on the remote control to turn closed
captioning on or off.

Note: If the channel is analog, Analog Caption will be available and the
Digital Caption will be grayed out (inactive).
