Issue:
The Intel® Security Driver fails to install.
Solution:
The IFWH.INF file references the Intel® 82802 Firmware Hub Controller device,
which is also controlled by the Intel® Security Driver. The operating system can
only reference one of these driver sets.
If you are planning to load the INF Files for Intel chipsets after OS Installation, do
NOT install the IFWH.INF file as described in the Readme.txt file.
Issue:
The Intel® LANDesk Software Package fails to install.
The ICHxSMB.INF file references the Intel® 82801AA and Intel® 82801AB
Solution:
SMBus Controllers, which are also controlled by the SMBus Device Driver,
included the Intel® LANDesk software package.
To address this problem on a system where the SMBus device driver for Intel®
LANDesk is going to be installed, the user needs to ensure that the
ICHxSMB.INF file is not used.
If you are planning to load the INF Files for Intel chipsets after OS Installation, do
NOT install the ICHxSMB.INF file as described in Section 6 of the Readme.txt
file.
