4. Speak into the microphone and check if the meter responds

volume of the microphone.
5. Click Start and begin speaking into the microphone.
6. Press [Esc] or click Stop to stop recording.
Tip: The best way to record narrations is to do the recording in 10 to
15-second sessions. This makes it easier to remove a badly recorded
narration and redo it. To remove, just select the clip on the Timeline
and press [Delete].

Adding background music

Set the tone of your movie with the background music of your
choice. VideoStudio can record and convert song tracks from your
CD into WAV files and then insert them onto the Timeline.
VideoStudio also supports WMA, AVI, and other popular audio file
formats which you can directly insert onto the Music Track.

Adding and importing music from an audio CD

There are two ways to capture music from an audio CD: by adding
or importing. When you add music to your project, VideoStudio will
record the music track while it is playing. On the other hand, when
you import from an audio CD, VideoStudio copies the CDA file then
saves it in your hard drive as a WAV file.
To add music from an audio CD:
1. Click the Music & Voice tab.
2. Insert the audio CD into your CD drive.
3. To check if the disc is detected, see to
it that Disc and Track in the Options
Panel are enabled. Choose your desired
song track from the Track drop-down
list.
