Connecting the Printer to your Macintosh

Turn off the printer's power switch.

Connect the network interface cable to the
printer, and then connect it to a free port on
your hub.

Turn on the printer's power switch.

Insert the CD-ROM for Macintosh
CD-ROM drive.
Open the Mac OS 9 folder.
Open your language folder.

Double-click the BR-Script PPD Installer
icon to install the PPD file.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

From the Apple menu, open the Chooser .

Click the LaserWriter 8
select BRN_xxxxxx_P1_AT.
Click the Create button.
Close the Chooser.
