Troubleshooting
Q: After connectng perpherals to the PC Mn, the keyboard, mouse and speakers do
not work and the dsplay does not show any content.
A: Check to make sure you followed the correct nstallaton procedures and
connectons. Check to see f the perpherals are connected correctly and they are
not loose. After checkng connectons, power up the system agan to see f the
system works as expected.
If the speakers or vdeo montor stll does not contnue to functon, refer to the
manuals that came wth those devces for further troubleshootng.
Q: After makng sure the montor s connected correctly to the system, the montor
stll shows nothng. What should I do?
A: The computer's power management functon may blank the screen to save power,
move the mouse slghtly or press any key on the keyboard to turn the dsplay
back on. You can also adjust the brghtness or contrast controls on the montor for
desred dsplay effects.
Q: The cursor moves unsteadly across the screen. What should I do?
A: If you are usng an optcal mouse t may not perform correctly on a glossy surface.
Put the mouse on a non-reflective surface.
Q: The system hangs or does not respond to any key strokes.
A: When the system s processng multple tasks the system may hang up. Press
CTRL + ALT + DEL to brng up the Task Manager Menu. Ths wll allow you to
cancel an applcaton or do a warm reset of the system. If ths happens multple
tmes you may have to renstall that applcaton.
