7.7 Taking Care of Your Yakumo deltaX GPS

Taking good care of your Yakumo deltaX GPS will ensure trouble-free
operation and reduce the risk of damage to your Yakumo deltaX GPS.
NOTE: Display errors (e.g. pixel errors etc.) resulting from high temperature variations
(e.g. when storing the device at very high or low temperatures in a car, etc.) are excluded
from the warranty. In such a case, the PDA may only be repaired subject to charge.

General Guidelines

Keep your Yakumo deltaX GPS away from excessive moisture and extreme
temperatures.
Avoid exposing your Yakumo deltaX GPS to direct sunlight or strong
ultraviolet light for extended periods of time.
Do not place anything on top of your Yakumo deltaX GPS or drop objects
on top of your Yakumo deltaX GPS.
Do not drop your Yakumo deltaX GPS or subject it to severe shock.
Store your Yakumo deltaX GPS in a protective cover when not in use.
Do not subject your Yakumo deltaX GPS to sudden and severe temperature
changes. This could cause moisture condensation inside the unit that could
damage your Yakumo deltaX GPS. In the event of moisture condensation,
allow your Yakumo deltaX GPS to dry out completely.
Take care not to sit on your Yakumo deltaX GPS when it is located in the
back pocket of trousers, etc.
Do not carry your Yakumo deltaX GPS with a card inserted. This can result
in the damage or loss of the card.
The screen surface is easily scratched. Use only the stylus to tap on the
screen. Avoid touching it with your fingers, pens, pencils or any other sharp
objects.
Never clean your Yakumo deltaX GPS with its power on. Use a soft,
lint-free cloth moistened with water to wipe the screen and the exterior of
your Yakumo deltaX GPS.
Do not use paper towels to clean the screen.
