How do I exit the program?

20
Switch to the other program by saying "Switch to" and the name of the
program as it appears in the title bar of the window (for example, say
"Switch to Lotus Notes").
Say "Paste That" to paste the text that's on the Clipboard into the
window.
When you have finished dictating, you can quit Dragon
NaturallySpeaking by right-clicking the microphone icon on the taskbar
and clicking Exit.
Before the program closes, you'll be asked if you want to save changes to
your speech files. Choose "Yes." By saving your speech files, you save
any adjustments Dragon NaturallySpeaking made for your voice and
vocabulary while you were using the program.
What are user speech files?
Your user speech files contain all the information that Dragon
NaturallySpeaking gathers about you: your pronunciation, your
vocabulary, how often you use different words, and your preferences
(whether you want one or two spaces after a period, for example).
Dragon NaturallySpeaking learns more about your voice and
vocabulary almost every time you use the program, even when you
don't do anything special to teach it.
You should almost always save your speech files when you exit. The only
exception is if you do something that could diminish accuracy, such as
running the Vocabulary Builder™ and processing documents that aren't
representative of text you'll be dictating. (See the online Help for more
information about Vocabulary Builder.) But don't worry about small
mistakes you might make, such as entering the wrong words in the
Correction dialog box. This type of mistake won't have any significant
effect and is easily reversed with continued use of the program.
NOTE
If you ever make unwanted changes to your speech files, you can restore a
backup copy. See the online Help.
