Dragon NaturallySpeaking Essentials
Dragon NaturallySpeaking capitalizes many words automatically. It
capitalizes the first word in a sentence, and it capitalizes common names
and proper nouns, such as "United Nations" and "Newton,
Massachusetts."
When you're dictating, you can capitalize words that aren't automatically
capitalized by saying "Cap" and then the word.
To capitalize a word:
Dictate the following sentence and say "Cap" to capitalize the word
"mark."
Don't forget to call [Cap] mark.
TIP
If you use the capitalized form of a word often, you can add the word to the
vocabulary. See the online Help.
Some words are in the Dragon NaturallySpeaking vocabulary in both
capitalized and lowercase form, for example, "canyon" and "Canyon" (as
in Grand Canyon). When you dictate these words, the program types the
form that makes the most sense based on the context. If you want a
different form, just correct the word (as described in "How do I correct
mistakes?" on page 12).
When you've finished dictating, you can copy your text to another
window. This is useful if you're working in the Dragon
NaturallySpeaking window and want to copy your text to your e-mail
program, for example.
To copy text to another program:
Say "Copy All to Clipboard" to copy your entire document.
