In JunosE Service Availability Configuration Guide, Chapter 4, Configuring a
Unified In-Service Software Upgrade, the DHCP Relay Server row in the
Application Support for Unified In-Service Software Upgrades table is
incorrectly marked as unsupported for the unified ISSU operation. DHCP relay
has supported unified ISSU since JunosE Release 9.2.0.
The DHCP Affected Behaviors section in JunosE Service Availability Configuration
Guide, Chapter 4, Configuring a Unified In-Service Software Upgrade, incorrectly
contains the DHCP Relay and DHCP Relay Proxy Prevent Unified ISSU section,
which indicates that the DHCP relay and DHCP relay proxy applications do not
support unified ISSU.
Both the DHCP relay and relay proxy applications began supporting unified
ISSU in JunosE Release 9.2.0. Therefore, you need not unconfigure these
applications from all virtual routers to perform a unified ISSU operation for
JunosE Release 9.2.0 and higher-numbered releases. DHCP relay proxy
continues processing of DHCP release requests during the unified ISSU to
maintain server-client synchronization.
In the Graceful Restarts section in JunosE BGP and MPLS Configuration Guide,
Chapter 1, Configuring BGP Routing, the following corrections and additions
apply to the working of the BGP graceful restart feature:
The bgp graceful-restart and neighbor graceful-restart command sections
incorrectly state that advertisement of the graceful restart capability is
enabled by default. The correct default behavior of these commands is that
BGP graceful restart is disabled, and advertisement of the graceful restart
capability is also disabled, both globally and for specified peers or peer
groups.
The bgp graceful-restart command section incorrectly mentions that you
can use the default keyword to restore the default condition, which causes
the sending of advertisements of the graceful restart capability to be sent.
However, the correct command behavior is that if you use the default
keyword with the bgp graceful-restart command, advertisements of the
graceful restart capability are not sent.
The neighbor graceful-restart command section fails to state that using
the no version of this command disables advertisement of the graceful
restart capability for specified peers or peer groups only. The no form of
this command does not affect global advertisement of the graceful restart
capability.
In the Aggregating Routes section in JunosE BGP and MPLS Configuration Guide,
Chapter 1, Configuring BGP Routing, the references to the router, "Snakes", in
the description that precedes the "Configuring Aggregate Addresses" figure are
incorrect. The correct references for this router are "SanJose", which is the label
used for this router in the figure.
