REAC (Roland Ethernet Audio Communication) is Roland's original technology. REAC transfers 40x40 of
24-bit uncompressed multi channel audio, level information, and control data over a single cat5e cable. This
digital transfer system eliminates the typical problems found in analog transfer such as signal quality degra-
dation or hums and buzzes. REAC provides not only superb sound quality but also is easy to install and cost
effective using light-weight Cat5e cable.
