Getting Started 2.1. Photo Book Overview There are 3 ways to view photos and videos on Photo Book: • Copy photos and videos from your computer to the Photo Book Internal Memory. You can also copy any music files you want to play as the background music.

To turn on Photo Book, press the Power Button. The Power LED will turn green and the Digital Foci screen will appear while Photo Book initializes and powers To turn off Photo Book, press the Power Button. Photo Book will shut down in about 2 seconds and the LED will turn off.

2.3.3. Battery Saving Features Photo Book has two power saving features to conserve battery power. 1. Dimming backlight: The LDC backlight will dim when the device is performing a copy task from memory card or flash drive to Internal Memory. 2.

2.4.6. Setup Option – Auto Shutdown Timer 1. Select Auto Shutdown Timer Icon allowed before Photo Book automatically shuts down to conserve battery life. 2. You can set the timer to a value between 5 minutes and 55 minutes. You can also select Off to disable this feature.
2.5. Copying Files from Computer to Photo Book Internal Memory 2.5.1. Connecting Photo Book to Your Computer 1. Open the bottom door on the right side of Photo Book to access the USB port of Photo Book. 2. Connect Photo Book to your computer using the included USB mini-B cable. 3.

3.3.1. Scrolling Through Photos Manually With the photo displayed full screen, press RIGHT / LEFT (or DOWN / UP) to manually scroll to the next / previous photo. Press MENU to show/hide file name and counter information. 3.3.2. Zooming Photos With the photo displayed full screen, you can zoom in and out on the photos by pressing + / –.
3.4. Playing Automatic Photo Slideshow From Thumbnail View, you can start an automatic Flip-Page slideshow or Full-Screen slideshow with adjustable time intervals. 1. From Thumbnail View, press MENU to access the MENU option. 2. Select Flip-Page Slideshow Icon In this mode, photos will advance automatically with an elegant Photo Book page-turning effect.

Tips and Techniques 4.1. Organizing Your Files to Play in a Specified Order Photo Book plays your photos in alphabetical order. If you want to arrange your photos so that they playback in a specific sequence, you can use the computer to rename the files with some kind of sequential naming pattern to match your desired playback sequence.
Frequently Asked Questions & Troubleshooting What is the optimal resolution of photos to be played back on Photo Book? The recommended resolution for the images is the actual screen resolution of Photo Book, which is 800x600 (SVGA) resolution. Please note that images of higher resolution will be automatically resized for display according to the screen resolution.

Photo Book will not recognize my memory card. Check to see that your memory card is inserted in the correct slot and in the correct orientation. Can I play music in the background while viewing photo slideshow?
