Location To control the heating, the thermostat must measure the most repre- sentative room temperature in your home. As the temperature measure- ment probe is in the transmitter unit, you must place the unit: • wall-mounted or placed on a shelf or accessible furniture at a height of 1.50 m, • away from heat sources (fireplaces, sunlight) and draughts (windows, doors), Before mounting in the final position, ensure no object can block the transmission between the transmitter and the radiator’s receiver. Starting up After installation you need to program initial settings. Turn the dial to the off position and press the right-hand button for 5 seconds until H600 code appears (maintenance menu reserved for the installer). Press OK. 5 sec. The screen displays CF01. Absence mode This mode is used to set a temperature (5 to 15° C) for a period that can be set from 1 to 365 days. From the automatic mode (AUTO), press the button. TTIR control panel and KTX 4 (or SKT 4) you may need to assign a new IR transmission channel in your KTX 4 (SKT 4). The channel KTX 4 (SKT 4) should be set up for is A5. CHANGING KTX 4 (SKT 4) IR COMMUNICATION CHANNEL To ensure proper infrared communication Terma KTX 4 must operate on the same IR channel as TTIR controller. To change the IR channel in KTX 4 (SKT 4) do as follows: 1. M ake sure KTX 4 controller is connected to mains and KTX 4 is on. If the device is switched off please switch it on by pressing ON/OFF button.
