DESCRIPTION
Regulated 20Vdc 1A max (1A pulse - 0.8A continuous) power supply fed by 230Vac 50/60Hz (115Vac 50/60Hz for Art. 893N1/A)
mains tension.
In the rest position (no command signal on input terminals +C or –C) the output (terminals + and −) has no voltage. The 20Vdc
output between terminals + and − is enabled by a signal (a voltage from 8 to 30Vdc) on input terminal +C or a signal (voltage from
4 down to 0Vdc) on input terminal −C.
This power supply can also be used as a normal power supply with 20Vdc output (terminals + and −) by putting a short between
the terminals −C and −. This model has an additional 20Vdc output +D specific for use on VIDEX digital systems. As the + terminal,
the +D and is enabled by the command terminals +C and –C.
The power supply is built in a 9 modules DIN box type A (157.5mm) and can be installed on a DIN bar or fixed directly to the wall
through the two holes (diameter 4.2mm) on the DIN box base by using two expansion type screws (Ref.
The main use of this product is on video intercom installations, either as a basic power supply or as an additional power supply in
case the installation needs to supply more than 2 video intercoms.
PROTECTIONS
Both Art. 893N1 and Art. 893N1/A has an internal restorable PTC for protection. In case of damage or short circuit, to restore the
internal protection: switch off for 1 minute and during that time eliminate the cause of the short.
