Battery Installation On the back of the remote, push down on the tab and pull the cover to remove. Match the (+) and (-) marks on the batteries to the (+) and (-) marks inside the battery compartment, then insert two (2) AAA batteries.

Page 6 Button Functions 1. Power - Turns devices ON/OFF 2. Red Indicator Light 3. TV, cbl/sat, dvd/vcr - Selects the device to control 4. Setup - Used to program the remote; Shift is the alternate function of this button. Use the Shift button to access the Menu, Ok and Exit functions of your device.
Page 7 Programming Your Remote Your remote is designed to control multiple audio/video devices. To use, you will need to program the remote for your devices. There are two different methods you can use to program the remote, Direct Code Entry or Auto Code Search.
Page 8 Programming Your Remote The red light will turn off after entering the fourth digit. 5. Point the remote at the device. Test the buttons on the remote to see if the device responds as you would expect. If the buttons do not operate the device, return to Step 2 above and use the next code that you circled for that device.
