Enter the default SIM card PIN using the keyboard,
then touch OK.
5. To change the SIM card PIN, touch Change PIN code.
Tip
Emergency calls can be placed at any time, without requiring a PIN.

Screen lock

Locking the screen turns off the display and disables the
control buttons to prevent accidental screen touches and
button presses when the device is in your bag, purse, or
pocket.
To lock the screen
Press the END CALL/POWER button. To unlock the screen and
enable the control buttons, press MENU twice.
To create and enable a screen unlock pattern
In addition to locking the screen, you can create and enable
a screen unlock pattern. You have to draw the correct unlock
pattern on the screen before you can unlock the screen and
control buttons.
1. Press HOME > MENU, then touch Settings.
2. Touch Security & location > Set unlock pattern.
