    Remove any transit packing and inspect the unit to ensure that all components have been delivered and that no damage has occurred during transit. If any damage is evident, note it on the carrier's freight bill and enter a claim. Report any major damage your local Johnson Controls representative. CAUTION Do not install or energize equipment that has been damaged.

    Do not mount additional controls, for example relays, in the unit. Do not run power and control wiring not connected to the unit through the unit.     In addition, the Modbus cable is comprised of three conductors and a shield. Standard 20 gauge shielded wire can be used. Note: Do not run control wiring in the same conduit with power wiring.     All field wiring must be in accordance with the current edition of the NEC and all other applicable codes and specifications.     Before releasing the drive system for regular operation after installation, the system must be adjusted and tested by qualified YORK or Johnson Controls personnel. This start-up labor is included in the sale of each MVVSD, to ensure reliable and safe performance. It is important to make arrangements for such a check and that time is allowed for it.
