    Before First Use • Remove all packaging materials and dispose of them responsibly. • Before using the appliance and its accessories, clean them thoroughly. Refer to the ‘Cleaning & Care’ section for detailed instructions. Assembly Placement • Place the appliance on a strong, flat, and level surface. Ensure it is positioned away from heat sources, direct sunlight, or areas where it may be exposed to splashing water.
  • Page 9 Take the Drive Coupling and ensure the Rubber Sealing Gasket is securely fitted over the bottom of the Coupling. From the top of the Mixing Bowl, lower the Drive Coupling through the hexagonal hole at the base. Note: The Drive Coupling can only be fully inserted into the hexagonal hole in 3 positions. It will not fit in all 6 positions of the hexagonal hole.
  • Page 10 Installing and Removing Blades Multifunction Blade (Chopping Blade) IMPORTANT: Take extra care when handling this accessory as the blades are very sharp and may cause injury if mishandled. Note: Always ensure the mixing bowl is correctly positioned on the base unit when installing or removing blades.
  • Page 11 Push down firmly and rotate anticlockwise until it locks into place. Pull upwards to ensure the blade is locked safely. To remove, push down firmly, rotate clockwise, and lift the blade out.
  • Page 12 Kneading Blade Note: Always ensure the Mixing Bowl is correctly positioned on the base unit when installing or removing blades. Used for kneading dough. Ensure the Mixing Bowl is correctly installed on the base unit. Hold the top of the Kneading Blade (avoid touching the edges). Lower the Kneading Blade into the Mixing Bowl, aligning the tabs with the drive coupling.

    Measuring Cup The measuring cup serves 2 purposes: It prevents food and liquids from being ejected through the hole in the Mixing Bowl Lid. It functions as a convenient measuring tool for adding ingredients. Installing and Removing the Measuring Cup Insert the Measuring Cup into the hole in the Mixing Bowl Lid.
  • Page 20 Spatula • The Spatula is designed for scraping food and liquids from inside the Mixing Bowl. It also features a hook on the handle end for lifting out the Strainer/Steamer Basket safely. • Only use the Spatula when the appliance is turned off and the Mixing Bowl Lid is removed.
  • Page 21 Strainer/Steamer Basket The Strainer/Steamer Basket is designed for multiple uses, including straining liquids, steaming food, and holding soft ingredients such as pasta or rice while cooking inside the Mixing Bowl. Installing the Strainer/Steamer Basket Ensure the Mixing Bowl is correctly installed on the base unit. Insert the Strainer/Steamer Basket into the Mixing Bowl, ensuring it sits securely.

    Steamer Assembly The Steamer Assembly is designed for steaming vegetables, fish, and other delicate foods. It consists of multiple components that must be assembled correctly for safe and efficient operation. Ensure the Mixing Bowl is correctly installed on the Base Unit. Attach and lock the Mixing Bowl Lid securely onto the Mixing Bowl.
  • Page 23 IMPORTANT: • Do not touch any part of the Steamer Assembly except the handles during operation, as surfaces may be extremely hot. • Keep clear of steam vent openings to avoid burns from escaping steam. • Do not block the steam vents, as this may cause steam to escape in unintended directions, leading to possible injury or appliance damage.

    Connect to the SmarterHome™ App Install the App Download the Kogan SmarterHome™ app from the Apple App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android). App Store (iOS) Play Store (Android) Log In or Sign Up If you already have a SmarterHome account, tap ‘Log In’. To register a new account, tap ‘Sign Up’.

    Connecting to Wi-Fi Once the appliance is powered on, the home screen will display the notification ‘Wi-Fi is not connected, please go to settings to connect Wi-Fi’. Select ‘Connect to Wi-Fi’ to view the list of available networks. Select your active Wi-Fi network and enter your password. Once the appliance is connected to Wi-Fi, you can begin exploring the different pages on the Touchscreen Display.
