When installing the product in locations other than telecommunications centres, ensure that the cables connecting the DC power input, and the safety ground conductor, are less than 3 metres in length.

When hot-swap functionality is required, ensure that one module remains installed, connected, and powered at all times. Unlocking and Removing an AC Power Supply Module Hard Disk Drive (HDD) Replacement The SS7G20SHDD Spare Hard Disk Drive for Dialogic® SS7G21 and SS7G22 Signaling Servers, consists of a spare hard disk drive, which contains the operating software for use with a SS7G2x Signaling Server. It allows the recovery of systems that have suffered HDD failure, but is subject to the pre-condition that the system operator must have prepared a System Configuration backup in advance of the HDD failure.
