ns-activate.pl (Activate an entry or group of
entries)
Activates an entry or group of entries.
Syntax
Perl script (Both)
Options
Directory Server 6.0 userDN with root permissions, such as Directory
-D
Manager.
Password associated with the user DN.
-w
Directory Server 6.0 port. The default value is the LDAP port of Directory
-p
Server 5.0 specified at installation time.
Host name of Directory Server 5.0. The default value is the full hostname of the
-h
machine where Directory Server 5.0. is installed.
Entry DN or role DN to activate.
-I DN
ns-inactivate.pl (Inactivate an entry or group of
entries)
Inactivates and thus locks and entry or group of entries.
