2.357. ttl (TimeToLive)

The TimeToLive, or ttl, attribute contains the time, in seconds, that cached information about an
entry should be considered valid. Once the specified time has elapsed, the information is considered
out of date. A value of zero (0) indicates that the entry should not be cached.

The userID, more commonly uid, attribute contains the entry's unique username.

2.359. uidNumber

The uidNumber attribute contains a unique numeric identifier for a user entry. This is analogous to the
user number in Unix.

NOTE
The uidNumber attribute is defined in 10rfc2307.ldif in the Directory Server. To
use the updated RFC 2307 schema, remove the 10rfc2307.ldif file and copy the
10rfc2307bis.ldif file from the /usr/share/dirsrv/data directory to the /etc/
dirsrv/slapd-instance_name/schema directory.
