AC-304TR – Agent Training Headset Setup Overview
AC-304TR Button Definition:
AC-304TR and HS-1500BT Setup:
The AC-304TR is not paired with the HS-1500BT when first used. An initial setup is required for pre-pairing the
AC-304TR headsets used by the agents and the HS-1500BT used by the coach.
Pre-pairing
Before the AC-304TR headset can be used it needs to be paired with the HS-1500BT by following the
-
below steps.
o The HS-1500BT and AC-304TR headsets need to be within 5 feet of each other to pair and connect.
Turn on the HS-1500BT (DO NOT have the USB Bluetooth Dongle that comes with the HS-1500BT
o
plugged in a PC), the LED will flash blue.
Option 1 - Press and hold the Bluetooth button while connecting the USB connection of the
Option 2 – Connect the AC-304TR to your PC and then triple press the Bluetooth button quickly
o The HS-1500BT should pair with the AC-304TR and the Bluetooth Button LED on both the AC-304TR
dongle and HS-1500BT will both turn solid blue indicating the headsets are connected.

AC-304TR into the PC. After connecting to the PC, continue to hold the Bluetooth button for
more than 2 seconds until the light is flashing Blue. This will allow the dongle of the training
headset to switch to "Pairing" mode to pair and connect with a new HS-1500BT that is in range.
If there is no HS-1500BT headset within the effective distance, the internal dongle of the
training headset will switch to "Off" mode after 1 minute.
on the AC-304TR to start the pairing process. The Bluetooth button will start to flash
indicating it is in pairing mode. The HS-1500BT must be in pairing mode with its blue LED
flashing. When this option is used the triple press will make the AC-304TR forget the current
HS-1500BT and actively search for a new one. This option can be used if a new HS-1500BT
(coach) needs to connect with an agent when they are on a call or idle. The pairing will
happen in the background so the call isn't disrupted and when paired, the call audio will be
able to be heard on the new HS-1500BT.
